Courses that really teach, step by step

Every course explains with examples, lets learners try ideas with hands-on interactions, gives specific feedback, and ends with its own quiz. Learning paths add checkpoint quizzes and a final assessment.

The first five courses of every subject path are free. The first 10 levels of every game (5 in 3D adventures) are free too.

Step into a subject world

Each subject has its own world, from the crystal mountains of Number Peaks to the lantern library of Story Woods. Every course and path is drawn in its world's colors.

Match and Sort

Olly's laundry day and toy box teach the first big ideas of early mathematics: things can be the same, things can go together, and a group can be sorted by a rule. Children match pairs, sort pictures into two groups, say the rule, and find the one that does not belong, then sort real objects at home.

Small Quantities: One to Three

With Olly's nest, garden and kitchen, children learn to see one, two and three at a glance, to say the matching number word, and to notice that two cats and two hats are both 'two'. They finish by making their own groups of one, two and three.

Counting with One Object per Number

Share the Picnic: Olly sets out one cup for each guest, and children learn to give one object to each person, to say one number for each thing they touch, and to tell a matched picnic from one where someone is missing out. A bedtime scene and a take-home table-setting job check that the idea works in new places.

Compare Small Groups

Who has more boats? Children compare groups of up to five by pairing things one to one and by counting each group, and learn the words more, fewer and the same. A final lesson shows that a longer line or bigger things do not mean more.

Shapes in Our World

Olly opens a shape box: circles, squares, triangles and rectangles. Children learn to name each shape whether it is big or small, turned or tilted, count its corners, and then go on a shape hunt to find circles and rectangles in clocks, coins, books and tents.

Listen, Notice and Respond

Short listening games with Olly: children listen to a spoken clue and find the picture it describes, follow simple spoken directions in play, and practise taking turns in a conversation with a grown-up. Everything is spoken aloud; no reading is needed.

A learning path, stop by stop

Courses teach; checkpoint quizzes revisit several courses; a final assessment covers the whole path. Teachers and families can use a path as it is, customize a copy, or pick single courses.

What the stops mean
  • Course: lessons, practice and its own end quiz
  • Checkpoint quiz: revisits several courses
  • Final assessment: the whole path
  • PlayTime and games: optional practice and fun

Progress counts required courses and quizzes only. Optional stops never change it.

How a course works

  1. See it. A short explanation and a worked example, one step at a time.
  2. Try it. Hands-on interactions: number lines, maps, simulations, sorting, building, coding.
  3. Practise. Feedback names what to look at next. Hints and worked solutions follow the family's or teacher's settings.
  4. Show it. An end-of-course quiz checks every objective. Written answers are reviewed by a grown-up, never auto-graded.
