Synthesize Sources in the Target Language
Learners combine three kinds of Arabic source on solar energy in the Arab world: an informational article about the Noor Ouarzazate solar complex in Morocco, a data chart from a school's own solar panels, and an interview with an engineer about desert challenges. They organise information by theme, find where sources agree, conflict or complete each other, interpret data in Arabic, use precise attribution language, and write a synthesis essay organised by themes rather than by source.

What learners will discover
- Extract information from a text, a data chart and an interview, and organise it by theme in a synthesis grid.
- Identify relationships between sources (agreement, tension, complementarity) and interpret data in Arabic.
- Use attribution and synthesis language precisely: وَفْقًا لِـ، يُشِيرُ … إِلَى، يَتَّفِقُ … مَعَ … فِي، فِي حِينِ أَنَّ، تَكْشِفُ الْبَيَانَاتُ أَنَّ.
- Write a synthesis essay organised by themes that integrates all three sources with accurate attribution.
