Sources, Attribution and Responsible Research

Learners become careful, honest researchers. Following a fictional student's project on his town's old train station, they tell primary from secondary sources, judge credibility with five questions (who, why, what evidence, when, can it be confirmed), quote, paraphrase and give credit honestly, and learn the basics of using images and media (public domain, Creative Commons, asking permission) and of saying when an AI tool helped. They finish with an annotated source list entry.
