Change a Character State
First graders learn that a character's state is what is true about it right now: its costume, position, direction and score. They trace programs to find the state at the end, and use forward and turn blocks, whose result depends on which way Bolt the robot is facing.

What learners will discover
- Describe a character's state (costume, position, direction, score) and tell which blocks change each part.
- Trace a short program and tell the character's state at the end.
