Computers & Digital Literacy · Grade 3
Privacy, Permissions and Attribution
Learners decide which permissions (camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos) an app really needs and why to ask a grown-up first, spot details in photos that reveal where someone is, and learn that creators own their work: we ask permission or use free-to-use works, and give credit with the title, creator and source.

What learners will discover
- Decide which app permissions (camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos) an app really needs, and ask a grown-up before allowing them.
- Protect location and photo privacy by noticing details that reveal where someone is and keeping location sharing off unless a grown-up decides otherwise.
- Respect creators: ask permission or use free-to-use works, and give credit with the title, creator and where the work was found.
