Spreadsheets and Formulas
Using Grid Sheet, a pretend spreadsheet, learners name cells by column letter and row number, read and write formulas that start with = (such as `=B2*C2`), add a range with `=SUM(D2:D4)`, and see that formulas recalculate automatically when data changes, solving a class bake-sale problem along the way.

- Spreadsheet check: 8 questions
- Ways to answer: fill in the blanks, choose an answer, match pairs, type a number and write a short answer
What learners will discover
- Name the parts of a spreadsheet: cells, rows (numbers), columns (letters), cell addresses such as B3 and ranges such as B2:B5.
- Read and write simple formulas that start with =, use cell addresses to add, subtract, multiply or divide, and add a range with SUM.
- Explain that formulas recalculate automatically when data changes, and use a spreadsheet to answer a real question.
