Narrative Craft and Intentional Style
Using an original reflective narrative about a girl whose name has always been mispronounced, learners study style as a set of deliberate choices: precise diction, sentence length and rhythm, imagery, active and passive voice, and the conditional and subjunctive moods. They learn how reflective narratives weave events with insight from a later perspective, then draft and revise their own reflective narrative.
