What it is
Join the crew of the airship Skylark as its engineer. Every level is a real log entry: how many crates were loaded, what the weather report said, what the captain shouted from the deck. Type it exactly, numbers and symbols included, and each finished sentence repairs another part of the ship. Stages focus on numbers, commas, apostrophes, colons, quotation marks and parentheses, always inside sentences that mean something.
What children learn
Practises the top-row numbers and the punctuation keys that writing needs: commas in lists, apostrophes in contractions and possessives, colons in labels and times, quotation marks in dialogue, and parentheses. Older engineers add decimals, percentages, hyphens and slashes. Accuracy earns stars; Chief Engineer also shows a gentle pace band that is never required.

How to play
Needs a physical keyboard. Click the log or press Enter to start typing. Backspace fixes mistakes; Shift makes capitals and symbols. The keyboard picture shows which finger to use and when Shift is needed. Say next word reads the log aloud word by word.
