What it is
A river gap in 3D. Join beams between joints to lay a road and brace it, then press Test. Bridge Lab uses a playful, simplified model, not real engineering: a bridge "holds" when the road reaches across, every joint is braced by triangles back to the fixed anchors, and the cost fits the budget. A stress view labels beams that are stretched or squeezed.
What children learn
Engineering design under constraints: define the problem, build, test and improve. Triangles keep their shape while squares can fold, so bracing with triangles makes frames rigid. The game is explicit about what its simple model leaves out.

How to play
Tap a joint, then a neighbouring joint, to add a beam; tap a beam to remove it. Press Test, then Reset or Undo. Drag to look around; + and − zoom. Keyboard: arrow keys turn the view, + and − zoom, R resets; on the joint pad, arrow keys move between joints, Enter starts or ends a beam, Delete removes the last beam. A flat side view works without 3D graphics.
