What it is
A beginner course in French as spoken in France, for children who are new to the language. Every level mixes five activities: find words in illustrated scenes, listen and choose pictures, match and read words and sentences, build phrases with word tiles (getting le or la, un or une, one or many right), pick the reply that fits a short conversation, and read little stories. Older learners also type words, with on-screen keys for é, è, ê, ç, œ and the French apostrophe. The audio is computer-generated speech from a French voice built into your device or browser, labelled with the voice's name, with a slower option; every spoken word can be shown on screen, and if no French voice is installed the words appear automatically so every activity still works. The interface and instructions stay in English. All French content is awaiting review by a native speaker.
What children learn
Greetings and introductions, numbers 1–20, colors, family, home and classroom words, food, animals, and simple sentences and questions. Builds listening and reading, noun gender and agreement, polite conversation choices and (older track) accurate spelling with accents.
