What it is
Three lamps shine on a small grid: one from the front, one from the side and one from above. Stack cubes and watch their shadows appear on the walls and floor. Match the dotted outlines with any structure that works, then try again with the fewest cubes.
What children learn
Connects 3D solids with their 2D views (front, side and top), the basis of technical drawing. Finding the fewest cubes builds reasoning about which cubes are hidden and which views overlap.

How to play
Tap a floor square or a stack to add a cube; switch to Remove to take the top cube off. Drag to turn, pinch or + and − to zoom. Keyboard: arrow keys turn the view, + and − zoom, R resets; on the build pad, arrow keys move, Enter adds and Delete removes. A flat build pad with the three views works without 3D graphics.
