What it is
A sunny road trip in 3D. The car drives forward by itself: steer left and right to pass slower cars, speed up or slow down when you need to, and collect the stars along the road. Later trips bring busy towns, long bridges, roadworks with orange cones, fuel cans to top up the tank, rain, sunsets and night drives with headlights. Touching another car or a cone is just a gentle bump: a wobble and a slow-down, never a crash. Road signs tell you what's coming. A flat map view works without 3D graphics.
What children learn
PlayTime is played for fun. Road Trip practises looking ahead, steering and timing, and shows a few friendly road signs, but it is never counted as learning evidence.
What it teaches
- Hand–eye coordination
How to play
Left and right arrow keys (or A and D) steer. Up arrow or W speeds up; down arrow or S slows down. On a phone or tablet, hold the big steer buttons on the left and the faster and slower buttons on the right. P or Escape pauses.
Plays with: Touch Mouse Keyboard
Accessibility
- Read-aloud on request
- Fully playable with a keyboard
- Calm mode with reduced motion
- Never relies on color alone
- Quiet mode turns off sound effects
