Find the first number together and join the dots in order with a pencil. When the picture appears, color it in and talk about what it shows. It is pitched at the expected level for Grades 6–8, for practice after the skill has been taught.

Tip for grown-ups: Keep the picture a surprise: guess what it is halfway through, then finish to check.
