For grown-ups: what this book practices, and where it comes from
What this book practices
An original, funny story told by a boy whose team builds a raft for a town race. The design problems are real: how much a float can carry, why a tall raft tips, why a raft will not go straight, and what each fix costs. Practices cause and effect and following a narrator's voice.
