Population, Migration and Urbanization
Why do people move, and why are cities growing so fast? Learners use push and pull factors, obstacles and opportunities to explain migration, classify different kinds of moves, and read UN data showing the world becoming mostly urban. They investigate megacities such as Lagos and Dhaka — their opportunities as well as their challenges — and practise describing migration with accurate data and balanced language.
