Sustain a Supported Exchange
Learners build the strategies that keep a real conversation going: opening, holding the floor and closing politely; using natural fillers and reactions (pues, a ver, ¡no me digas!); asking for clarification and checking understanding; explaining a word they don't know (es una cosa que sirve para…); and negotiating a solution to a problem, such as lost luggage at an airport. Every item is tapped, chosen or typed; spoken role-play is optional and never machine-scored.
