What it is
Three workshops of sliding puzzles: 3×3 picture and number trays, bigger 4×4 frames, and a yard where trucks and carts must make way for truck X. Every puzzle can be solved, and its fewest possible moves are worked out by a computer search, so the star challenge is always fair.
What children learn
Builds planning and sequencing: thinking several moves ahead, breaking a big goal into ordered sub-goals (top row first), and noticing when a step backwards opens the way forwards.

How to play
Tap a tile next to the gap to slide it, or drag a block along its length. Keyboard: arrow keys move the selection, Enter slides the chosen tile; for blocks, Tab or letter keys pick a block and arrow keys slide it. Reset puts everything back.
