Treetop Climb

What it is

Climb ropes up a giant jungle tree, a magic beanstalk, a seaside lighthouse, a snowy peak, a blossom tree and a canyon cliff, side by side with Olly. Each right answer pulls you up a step, and a streak of right answers sends you up with a super climb. A wrong answer only pauses you on your rope (though Olly may sneak past). Each climb adds something new: acorns to collect, branches, birds, wind, slippery patches, a swinging rope, cheeky squirrels and rain, plus rocket acorns, helmets and golden acorns, and every sixth climb a champion joins on a third rope. Olly climbs faster as the levels rise, but everyone reaches the top: the last right answer always rings the bell. Tracks cover times tables, place value, sight words, capitals and punctuation, and Spanish and French words.

What children learn

Builds times-table fluency, place value to the thousands, high-frequency sight words, capitals and punctuation, and beginning Spanish and French vocabulary (reusing the reviewed Language Adventure word lists), with every answer checked on the server.
