Mission 9
Prepare the Space Station
High above the clouds, Juniper Station is waiting for its crew. Up there everything floats, water is precious and every kilogram has to be lifted by rocket. Pack the lockers, count out the meals, fill the tanks and plan the supply ship so that nothing is missing and nothing is wasted.

Who is playing?
Each age gets its own version of the story. Any of them is fine to play.

Forty Person-Days
The job: Plan the supply ship for 4 astronauts for 10 days: enough food, water and air, inside the ship's mass and cargo-bag limits.

For grown-ups: what this mission practices
Fitting things into a space, counting out equal amounts, measuring in liters and kilograms, and working out needs from an amount per person per day. Older children plan inside mass and volume limits, follow recycled water and battery power, compare plans and justify a change.
- Ages
- Five versions, from Preschool to Grade 8. They are different designs, not the same task with other numbers.
- How it is checked
- Every answer is checked by rules the child can see at work on the screen. Any answer that meets them is right.
- Help
- Olly can read any line aloud, give a hint that points at where to look, or show one way. A report says where help was used.
- Time
- Nothing is timed. A part takes a few minutes and progress is saved after each one for a signed-in child.
