Arabic · Grade 9
Sustain a Supported Exchange
Learners keep an Arabic conversation going with the help of phrase banks and frames. Through a video call between exchange partners planning a joint project and a youth-council discussion about a new park, they practise opening and closing politely, asking follow-up questions and showing interest, asking for clarification and checking understanding, and agreeing or disagreeing respectfully.

- Keep the exchange going with follow-up questions, signs of interest (حَقًّا؟ هٰذَا مُثِيرٌ لِلِاهْتِمَامِ) and invitations to the other person (وَأَنْتَ؟ .
- Ask for clarification and check understanding ؟ ؟).
- Agree, partly agree and disagree politely, giving a reason
