Integrated Language Portfolio
The capstone of the Advanced Readiness route brings the three modes of communication together around one theme: growing up with several languages in Bruxelles, Dakar and Montréal. Learners interpret an article, a short spoken testimony and a chart; plan a Semaine des langues with a partner school in Bruxelles through formal and informal exchanges; write a sourced article for a school magazine through planning, drafting and revision; and assemble a portfolio with can-do self-assessment, evidence for each mode and specific goals.

- Ways to answer: fill in the blanks, choose an answer, choose a reply, highlight a text, match pairs and type a number
What learners will discover
- Interpret and connect information from a written article, a spoken testimony and a chart on one theme, identifying each source's main point and how the sources confirm, complement or nuance one another.
- Take part in written and constrained spoken-style exchanges to plan a project, using the right register (vous with a teacher, tu with a student), clarification, proposals and polite agreement.
- Produce a polished, sourced article (titre, chapeau, intertitres, sources) through planning, drafting and revision with a log.
- Self-assess with can-do statements, select portfolio evidence for the interpretive, interpersonal and presentational modes, and set specific, dated learning goals.
