Compare Places with Evidence
How are places alike and different, and how do we know? Learners describe urban, suburban and rural communities from clues, read tables and bar charts to compare places (including real average temperatures and precipitation for Chicago, Miami and Denver), highlight the sentences in a text that are evidence, and make claims that are backed by evidence instead of opinions.
