Living Things in Different Habitats
Forests, deserts, oceans and ponds are home to very different living things. Learners match plants and animals to habitats that meet their needs, then act like field scientists: they count how many different kinds of living things are found in each habitat, compare the numbers in tables and bar charts, and explain why some habitats hold a greater variety of life.
