Food, Water and Economic Geography
Learners follow food from farm to plate to see how economies work: the four economic sectors and how jobs shift between them, the supply chain that turns cocoa beans in West Africa into chocolate bars elsewhere, and where the value is added along the way. They measure the hidden 'virtual water' in foods, then explain why countries trade and how a dry country can save water by importing food.
