Geography · Grade 7
Investigate a Global Place-Based Question
In this inquiry capstone, learners investigate one big question about a real place: how and why is Vietnam's Mekong Delta — home to about 17 million people and much of the country's rice — changing? They frame sub-questions at several scales, judge the reliability of sources, trace causes from local wells to dams in other countries and global sea-level rise, and communicate a conclusion with limitations. They then plan an inquiry of their own about a new place.
