Synthesize Sources in the Target Language

Learners write a persuasive essay that synthesizes three sources in Spanish — a print article, an illustrative chart and a spoken interview — on the question '¿Es beneficiosa la educación bilingüe en las escuelas?', with Paraguay's Spanish–Guaraní bilingualism as a context. They identify each source's position and perspective, integrate them by idea rather than one by one, paraphrase and attribute accurately with precise reporting verbs, and write a well-argued synthesis essay.
