Revise Extended Writing
Good writers revise. Learners take an original student draft about why to learn a second language and improve it in three passes: content and organization (a clear thesis, focused paragraphs, cutting what does not belong), cohesion (connectors, pronouns and synonyms instead of repetition, combined sentences), and accuracy (agreement, ser/estar, preterite/imperfect, por/para, mood and accents). They practise giving and using specific feedback and keep a revision log as they revise a draft of their own.

What learners will discover
- Revise for content and organization: a clear thesis and topic sentences, one idea per paragraph, logical order and relevant support only.
- Improve cohesion with connectors, reference words and synonyms that avoid repetition, and by combining short sentences with relatives and subordinate clauses.
- Edit for accuracy with a personal checklist: agreement, ser/estar, preterite/imperfect, por/para, indicative/subjunctive and accents.
- Give specific, kind feedback and use feedback to revise a draft, explaining the changes in a revision log.
