Spanish · Grade 4
Expand Questions and Connected Sentences
Learners move from short sentences to connected Spanish. They ask more precise questions (¿qué o cuál?, ¿adónde?, ¿con quién?, ¿desde cuándo?), link ideas with connectors (además, sin embargo, por eso, aunque, cuando, si), and combine sentences with que, donde and lo que. They read an interview with a young volunteer who protects sea turtles in Costa Rica and write a connected profile of someone they interview.
