Interpret Authentic-Style Adapted Texts

Learners read the kinds of texts people meet in daily life across the Spanish-speaking world, adapted to their level: a news brief about Bogotá's Sunday Ciclovía, a guacamole recipe, a school survey infographic, an advertisement, a tourism brochure and a social post about the Inti Raymi festival in Cusco. They identify type, audience and purpose, extract information from visuals and instructions, separate facts from claims, and describe the cultural products, practices and perspectives the texts reveal.
