Read and Respond to Short Texts
Learners become confident readers of short, real-world Spanish texts. They use cognates and context to work out new words (and watch for false friends), scan posters, schedules and menus for times, prices and places, follow a short story for its main idea and details, and finally answer a pen pal's email.
