A Guided Spanish Story Project

The Foundation route ends with a creative project: learners write their own short story in Spanish. They read a model story, find its characters, setting, problem and solution, learn connectors that move a story along (primero, de repente, entonces, al final), write accurate present-tense sentences with descriptions, feelings and dialogue, and then plan, draft and revise a story for a class anthology.

  • 4 lessons
  • About 110 minutes
  • Story project check: 9 questions
  • Ways to answer: fill in the blanks, choose an answer, highlight a text, match pairs, put in order and sort into groups
