About these animal coloring pages
Animals are the coloring pages children ask for most, and they are good for more than a quiet half hour. Choosing a color for fur, feathers or scales starts a conversation about real animals: why a fox is orange, why a penguin is black and white, why a giraffe has patches. Children who want a challenge can try the real colors; others can invent a purple lion. Both are right.
The pages run from simple faces with big shapes, good for preschoolers, to a whole horse, an octopus and a peacock with dozens of feathers for older kids. Every animal here is also a How to Draw lesson, so a child who colors the owl can learn to draw it next.
Open any picture to print it on US Letter or A4, color it on screen, or find its drawing lesson.
