Body Explorer

What it is

Start with Pip, a friendly child who looks a little different each time: tap Pip's knees, nose and toes, and find out which body part helps you smell cookies or hear a bell. Next, match body parts to their jobs. Older explorers label the digestive, respiratory, circulatory, skeletal, muscular and nervous systems, follow a bite of food, a breath of air and a drop of blood through the body, and discover how systems work as a team.

What children learn

Body parts and the five senses; what the heart, lungs, brain, stomach, bones, muscles, teeth and skin do; the organs of six body systems; the paths of food, air and blood; reflexes; levels of organization; and how systems work together.
