Draw on paper: Paper, Pencil. Optional: Eraser, Pink, tan and red crayons or markers.
Draw it on the screen
Start at the top with a big round scoop. A wavy line underneath makes the ice cream look soft and drippy. A big V becomes the cone, and crisscross lines make it look crunchy. A cherry on top finishes it off!
Rather color it? Print the ice cream cone coloring page.

Tips for this drawing
Helpful hints
- Make the scoop wider than the top of the cone, so it looks big and yummy.
- Start each side of the V at the bottom of a wavy bump.
Common mistakes
- The V is drawn first and the scoop ends up too small. Draw the scoop first. Then fit the V under it.
- The cone lines go up into the ice cream. Stop each line as soon as it reaches the wavy edge of the scoop.
Make it simpler
Skip the crisscross lines. Draw the scoop, the V and the cherry.
