- Adaptation
- Retold for PlayOwl in 2026 from the English folk tale of the three little pigs. PlayOwl's telling is gentler than the old versions: the first two pigs escape to their brother's house, nobody is eaten, and the wolf runs away with a stung tail. The tale is folklore with no author. The Jacobs collection was published in 1890 and Joseph Jacobs died in 1916, so that printed version is in the public domain. Only the events of the tale were followed, and no edition's wording was copied; the traditional rhymes were replaced with new ones.
