Arabic · Grade 4
Write for a Practical Purpose
Learners write Arabic that gets things done: an email to a friend, a formal inquiry to a cultural centre about a calligraphy workshop, a registration form and a polite apology. They learn the parts of a practical message, the difference between informal and formal register, standard formal phrases (حَضْرَةَ …، تَحِيَّةً طَيِّبَةً وَبَعْدُ، أَرْجُو أَنْ …، مَعَ خَالِصِ الشُّكْرِ), how to give clear details, and how to write a message for a real purpose.
