Present an Integrated Language Portfolio

The capstone of the French sequence. Learners interpret an integrated set of sources (an article, a spoken testimony and a chart) on French-based creole languages in Haïti, Martinique and La Réunion; prepare a structured cultural comparison presentation that sets a practice or perspective from a francophone community beside their own, with evidence and audience-aware language; curate and annotate a portfolio across the interpretive, interpersonal and presentational modes; and reflect critically on their growth before setting long-term goals for using French beyond school. Presenting aloud is optional and never scored.

  • Curate a portfolio across the interpretive, interpersonal and presentational modes, selecting artifacts that show growth and annotating each with what it demonstrates and how it was revised.
