Research and Present a Cultural Topic

The capstone of the Developing route teaches a small, honest research process in French. Learners turn a broad topic into a focused research question, judge sources by author, date, purpose and evidence, take notes in their own words and cite simply (Selon…, D'après…, Source : …), organise a presentation with clear signposts, and prepare a script and slides for a short cultural presentation (for example la Journée internationale de la Francophonie, le créole haïtien, le Carnaval de Québec or la teranga) with a respectful comparison. Speaking the presentation is optional and never scored by the app.
