Plant and Animal Structures

Roots, stems, leaves and flowers each do a job for a plant. Beaks, claws, shells, fins and fur each help an animal find food, stay safe, move or sense the world. Learners label plant parts, sort animal parts by their jobs, and explain how the shape of a part fits its job, from an eagle's hooked beak to a duck's webbed feet.
