Write and Exchange Simple Messages
Learners write the messages people really send: notes to friends, invitations, replies and a polite email to an adult. They learn the shape of a message and when to be informal or formal, invite, accept and decline with days and times, keep a message thread going by answering every question and asking their own, and finish by writing and proofreading an invitation.

What learners will discover
- Organize a message with a greeting, body and closing, and choose informal or formal language (Querida Ana / Estimada señora Robles; Un abrazo / Atentamente; tú / usted).
- Make, accept and decline invitations with days, times and places (¿Quieres venir…? ¡Me encantaría! Lo siento, no puedo porque…).
- Keep a written exchange going: answer each question in a message and ask relevant follow-up questions (¿A qué hora? ¿Dónde nos vemos? ¿Qué llevo?).
- Write, proofread and improve a complete message for a real purpose.
