Draw it on the screen
A penguin is a tall egg with a second shape inside it: the white tummy. The tummy has two round bumps on top, like the top of a heart, and the eyes go inside those bumps. Then add a beak, flippers that hang down at the sides, and two flat feet.
Rather color it? Print the penguin coloring page.

Tips for this drawing
Helpful hints
- Leave a wide dark edge around the tummy. The flippers attach to that dark part.
- When you color, leave the tummy white and color the rest of the body dark.
- Tilt one flipper up for a penguin that is waving.
Common mistakes
- The eyes end up on the dark part of the body. Put each eye inside one of the two bumps at the top of the tummy.
- The feet are long, like a duck's. Penguin feet are short and wide. Keep them close under the body.
Make it simpler
Draw the egg body, a tummy oval inside, two dot eyes and a beak.
