Compare People, Places and Perspectives
Learners compare people, things and places accurately and discuss different points of view politely. They use plus / moins / aussi + adjective + que, plus de / moins de / autant de + noun, meilleur and mieux, and superlatives (la ville la plus froide, le meilleur, le mieux); they compare francophone cities from a table of approximate January temperatures without claiming more than the data shows; and they give, compare and answer opinions respectfully in a forum about the best way to get to school.

- Use superlatives (le / la / les plus… de, le / la / les moins… de, le meilleur, le mieux) with the adjective in the right place.
- Compare places accurately using a table or text, treating approximate figures with care and saying when the data does not answer a question.
- Express, compare and respond to perspectives respectfully (à mon avis, je pense que, je trouve que, je suis d'accord / pas d'accord, ça dépend, tu as raison mais…).
