Coordinate Graphs and Relationships
Learners meet the coordinate plane (axes, origin and ordered pairs) and plot and read points in the first quadrant. They graph the ordered pairs made by two numerical patterns, interpret points in real situations, find horizontal and vertical distances, and use a graph to compare two savings plans.

- Coordinate graphs check: 10 questions
- Ways to answer: choose an answer, draw a graph, plot points, match pairs, type a number and true or false
What learners will discover
- Describe the coordinate plane (axes, origin, x- and y-coordinates) and plot and name points in the first quadrant.
- Graph ordered pairs formed from two numerical patterns and describe the relationship the graph shows.
- Interpret coordinates of points in real-world graphs and find distances between points on the same horizontal or vertical line.
- Use points and graphs on the coordinate plane to solve a real-world problem.
