A Letter from Camp
Evening at a summer camp in the woods. A boy of eight with light skin, short dark brown hair and round glasses, in a green T-shirt and shorts, sits on the wooden steps of a log cabin, writing on a sheet of paper on his knee, looking thoughtful. A flashlight lies beside him. Tall pines stand around, and a lake glimmers between the trees.
Dear Mom and Dad, I have been at Camp Pine Lake for three days, and I have a lot to tell you.
