Grade 2 · Story
The Fox and the Grapes
A sunny country lane beside an old stone wall. A slim red fox with a white-tipped tail trots along the lane, ears pricked, glancing up. Over the top of the wall, a leafy vine hangs with bunches of purple grapes, high above him. A butterfly flits past, and a farmhouse sits on a green hill far behind.
On a hot afternoon, a hungry fox trotted along a stone wall. Over the wall hung a vine full of plump purple grapes.
