Should Every Player Get a Trophy?
At the end-of-season party, the table is crowded with shiny trophies. There is one for every player on every team, whether the team won every game or lost them all. Many youth leagues follow this custom, and many families love it. I understand why, but I believe that once players are old enough to understand winning and losing, trophies should be saved for real achievements.
