Apples in the Fall
A farm garden on a crisp, sunny fall day. A boy of six with tan skin and short black hair, in a red flannel shirt and jeans, carries a basket heaped with red apples along a wooden fence. Behind him are leafy trees turning gold (no fruit showing), orange pumpkins on green vines and a row of carrots with feathery tops. Gold leaves drift down.
Apples grow on trees.
