What it is
Flowers in Olly's garden each hold a picture with its word underneath. Children press Listen to hear the question in the device's own voice, tap a flower's small speaker to hear its word, and tap the picture that starts with a sound, rhymes with a word, or has the right number of beats. The question is always written and shown with a letter, picture or clap dots too, so the game works with the sound off.
What children learn
Builds phonological awareness: hearing first sounds and matching them to letters, hearing and matching rhymes, and counting syllables (beats) in spoken words.

How to play
Press Listen to hear the question. Tap the small speaker on a flower to hear its word. Tap a picture to choose it. Keyboard: Tab to a flower, press L to listen to its word, Enter to choose. The question can always be read on screen.
