Olly's Daily Learning Adventure

A few minutes a day, picked just for your child.

Each day Olly plans a short adventure from real PlayOwl games, stories and lessons: practice where it's needed, a quick review, something new and something fun. Your child sees one big “Start” button. You choose the minutes.

Example

An adventure for a Grade 7 child who's new to PlayOwl

Built just now by the same planner your child gets, from PlayOwl's free games, stories and lessons. A real adventure is built from your child's own results, so it changes as they learn.

Today's focus: finding function rules, then making inferences.

How Olly picks

Five kinds of stop, always in this order

  1. AssignedSkills a teacher or you asked them to practice come first.
  2. PracticeSkills that need more work. Still tricky? A lesson with pictures, never a harder drill.
  3. Quick reviewSkills learned a while ago come back at the right time, so they stay strong.
  4. Something newThe next skill on their learning map, once the skills before it are strong.
  5. Just for funA favorite game, a story or a drawing lesson to finish.
  • Minutes, not homework. Olly fills the minutes you choose (5 to 30), with fewer stops on short days.
  • Done means done. A stop is ticked only when PlayOwl records it: a level finished, a story read, lesson steps completed.
  • Variety. Subjects take turns and yesterday's activities aren't repeated when there's another.
  • No guilt. No streaks to lose and no “you missed” messages. A finished day earns a star stamp.

You stay in charge

Simple settings for each child

  • How many minutes a day, and whether there's an adventure at all
  • Subjects to put first, and up to eight skills to focus on
  • Pace: gentle, standard or a little stretch
  • A learning page with today's stops, the week and skills over time, in plain words
  • Teachers can assign a skill to practice; it shows up as an “Assigned” stop

Private by design

Built from your child's own PlayOwl results

  • The plan uses only what your child does on PlayOwl. Nothing is sold or shared, and there are no ads.
  • No AI decides anything: clear, tested rules pick every stop, and each one says why.
  • Locked content is never planned. Free families get free games, stories and lessons.
  • Teachers see only work done for their class, never your child's home adventure.
