Story and Reading Games for Kids

Stories teach children how ideas fit together. In these games they put picture cards in story order and retell them, direct a stage play by changing the words in a sentence, find the missing page of a story from clues, prove an answer with evidence from a case file, and finally write and illustrate a book of their own. Together they cover sequencing, sentence building, comprehension and writing from preschool to eighth grade. Two printable stories with questions add reading practice on paper.
